MAPLE PECAN GRANOLA
 
Ingredients:
• 3 cups rolled oats
• 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
• 1/3 tbsp. ground nutmeg
• 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. maple syrup
• 3 tbsp. melted butter
• 3 tbsp. brown sugar
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1/4 cup shredded coconut
• 1/3 cup golden raisins
• 1/4 cup dried cherries
 
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 300 degrees
2. Combine rolled oats and next 9 ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Spread the mixture into an even layer on a parchment-paper lined baking sheet.
4. Bake until the granola is slightly golden brown – approx 20-25 minutes – turning once. 
5. Let cool before breaking up.
6. Add the coconut, raisins & cherries and toss together.
 
Serves:
• 8-10
 
Prep time:
• 15 minutes
 
Cook time:
• 20 (chewier) – 25 (crunchier) minutes
